Book = A Catalog of Early Puritan Settlers of the Colony of Connecticut, 1852, pg.410 - by Royal R. Hinman lists 9 children of John and Sarah Burleson.
children born at Suffield to Sarah Holliday = Sarah, John, Jonathan, Mercy, Joseph, Abigail, Mary, Elizabeth and Rachel.

Elizabeth Burleson married Daniel (Schiffman) Shipman in CT

They had children in VA then Rutherford NC

this means you can trace Elizabeth Burleson Shipman from NC to CT
