I am hoping some one else may have some photos or information about my Burkhardt line. Henry E born abt 1870 was married to Emma (maiden name unknown Born 1872), while still in Germany. They traveled aboard the Friesland and arrived in NY NY July 26, 1892. The 1900 cencus finds them in Cincinnati, Hamilton OHIO with 2 children Emma age 7 and William age 4. By the 1920 census the daughter Emma list her occupation as a concert singer. Past census' have named the occupation for father as jewelry maker and sales of jewelry as both daughter and wifes occupation at different times. The 1920 cencus names William's occupation as watch maker.I would love to know what part of Germany this couple came from or any information about the family would be greatly appreciated.
