Samuel and David Burket, Blair Co. PA

I am descended from one Abraham Burket, born 1842 in Blair County, the son of David and Barbara (Dively) Burket.

David appears in some genealogical references, but there is very little information about him. (This apparently is not the David Burket who founded the Burket family line in Texas.)

I have a note from my grandmother that says David was the son of a Samuel Burket a "early settler of Greenfield Township and Blair County."

In reading one of the websites I noticed reference to a Samuel that was the son of Christopher Burket, and grandson of Israel Burket. Israel is well documented and apparently landed in Philadelphia from Germany and settled in Somerset Co., PA.

Unfortunately the records on this website do not list the children of Samuel Burket. Can anyone link confirm Samual, son of Christopher, as the father of David?

Thanks for any assistance. I can be reached at Gil Burket
