Sarah Fernald b. aft. 1791 was married to Ebenezer Cobb (1791-1824)on Sept. 10, 1815 per Office of the City Clerk, City of South Portland. No record of her birth or death, and no other info is listed on the marriage notice to further assist.
The Cobb genealogy states she remarried to a "JOHN HENRY BURKE of Portland, ME in 1830 and [she] died Oct. 3, 1835, age 37."
Her son Benjamin's death certificate states she was 'of Cape Elizabeth, ME'.
I have no information of JOHN HENRY BURKE. Does anyone know anything of this JOHN HENRY BURKE? Is Sarah Fernald/Firnald or JOHN HENRY BURKE in your family files?
