I have Jonathan's parents as Benjamin Burke, Junior and Elizabeth Troxall. Elizabeth may have been Cherokee.

According to my records, the children of Jonathan Burke and Nancy Cooper are:
Peter Senior, b 1821, married Susan Milligan and Louiza Lewallen
Harmon(ds), born 1834, married Polly Ann Smith
Polly/Mary, born 1835, married Cyrenus (Rene) Carson and James McDonald
Jonathan, born 1837, married Mary Milligan
Sarah, born 1838, married William N Milligan
Lewis, born 1840, married Sarah Sally Blevins
Elizabeth/Betty, born 1831, married William R Hatfield
Hayden, born 1828, married Nancy Lewallen
Granville, born 1830, married Anna Annie Blevins
William, born 1849
Susan, born 1823, married William Cooper and James Cooper.

Do you know ANYTHING about Nancy Cooper besides the fact that her father's name is Isaac?

Benjamin and Elizabeth's children were:
Sarah, born 1788, never married
Anna, born 1793, married Edward Dolen
Jonathan, born 1797, married Nancy Cooper
Peter, born 1800, married Margaret/Peggy Brown
Allen, born circa 1803, married Elizabeth/Betsy Ryan
Mary/Polly, born 1805, married Thomas Milican
Hudson, born circa 1810, married Malinda Coll/Cole

Is it true that William R. Hatfield is the illegitimate son of a McCoy?
