Just wanted to let you know that after receiving a copy of my grandfather's death certificate, I was able to locate his gravesite with some help from a Clinton, Ok Funeral Home and the county clerk who gave me the name and phone number of the caretaker of the cemetery. His death cert said he was buried in Cowden Cemetery which turned out to be Sappington Cemetery in Cowden, Ok. His date of birth on the tombstone was shown as 1898 instead of 1897 and date of death was 1928 instead of 1929 but we know it is him because he is buried next to his wife, Lillie. I also learned he had a daughter who died when she was about one. Now that I have found a part of me that was missing, I am just waiting for a chance to go visit.
