The obituary for Rev. Vardry Burgess has been found and will be uploaded later. He was born January 23, 1817 in Burke County, North Carolina. He died on May 26, 1878 in LaCygne, Kansas and was buried there in Oaklawn Cemetery with a Masonic service. His name included the title, "Rev". More later.
