The Butte County Historical Society was given a Bible with information about the family of Manuel Burgess b. Azores 1846 and d. Gilroy, CA 1929 and his wife Ursula Silva b. Azores 1874 and d. San Jose, CA 1939. Other names include Glynna J. Butler and Joe Burgess. This family does not appear to have a direct connection to our area, and we would like to send this Bible to a family member for the cost of postage.
