Burgess Surname DNA Project Report #11

Hello, My name is Richard J. Sides. I recently received my DNA project report. The one name that I match the most is Burgess; however, I do not know the family connection. I have complete matches on the 12-, 25-, and 37-marker test with Burgess.I can trace my male genetic surname back only to my great-grandfather, John Charles Murphy-Sides. He used both names (Sides and Murphy) on various legal documents. However, my DNA indicates that I am not related to any Sides or Murphys; instead, the most common name is Burgess.John Charles was born bet 1840-45 (depending on the record) and travelled out West after the Civil War. He had blue eyes and brown hair. He was about 5'10" and wore a brace of pistols and carried a rifle in a photo about 1875.About 1890, he started sporting a Buffalo Bill look (long hair, beard, mustache). He was very well educated and had a strong gift of gab. He worked as a salesman, chef, soldier, and miner, according to "family legend."Is there a way I can get you all a pix of him so that you can see if he matches any missing Burgess?
