Tom,
You are absolutely right. I caught the same mistake;
after our last correspondance I re-read Edward's will
and saw his dau.referred to as Milly Wilson. I do have
a fair amount of research on Elias, will look it up and
send it to you, although you may have about the same
info I have. Off the top of my head I do know that Elias, Josiah, and Milly were the children of William Burgess
and wife Mary, last name unknown. I believe (have to double check) that Elias and Josiah's baptisms were
recorded in the Prince George's Parish, Prince Georges Co., MD.Since Sarah Burgess's (Elias' wife)
baptism was also recorded there, it places both Burgess families in PG Co., MD in the same time frame; i.e.,early 1760's, I believe.
Thanks for writing, I was intending to contact you, but got derailed by the holidays (and selling a house).
