Sarah and Mason Burgess were brother and sister, being two of the children of Edward Burgess Jr. and Sarah Price.Mason ultimately went to Orange Co., IN, where he left a large number of progeny, some of whom later settled in Wayne Co., IL, and surrounding areas.Sarah and her husband eventually settled in Edgar Co., IL, where she died on 26 March 1846, aged 66 years, being buried with her husband and other relatives in the Cornwell Cemetery there on the Ben Robinson farm.Some of their Cornwell children may have included:Simon (1811-1840); Mary "Polly" (born about 1812, married William R. Johnson); Burgess (1818-1853); Allen (1820-1844); Sarah (born about 1822, married James D. Wilson); Angeline (born 23 Sept. 1823, married John R. Wilhoit), and died 31 May 1904 in Edgar Co.); Peyton; Hiram.
