Do you have any information on the Caroline Burgdorf that you mentioned that immigrated to the U.S.? My grgr Grandmother was Caroline Burgdorf b. 11/21/1858 in Broistadt, Germany and immigrated to the U.S. in Nov 1882, arriving at Franklin,Iowa. She married Peter Feikert on 5/5/1884 and had 5 children. I have a picture of her and Peter. Her obit states she had a sister Dina Mumme of Braunschweig,Germany; a sister Doretta Littig of Bad Hartzburg,Germany; and a brother August Burgdorf of Broistadt,Germany.
