The names used by my Swedish ancestors in San Francisco were Carl Henry Burg, Edward J. Burg and Gustav F. Burg. Edward J Burg was married to Beatrice Mary Ramus and they had 9 children: Edward A., Cecil, John A., Grant Lee, David C., Mrs Dorthea B Edwards, Mrs. Ada E. Spurn/Knight, Mrs. Helen R. Webb and Mrs Mary Lillian Whitcomb. Carl Henry Burg was married twice, first to Emily Brugge, then Clara Belle Gardner. Their children included: Mrs. Thelma Burg Ward, Mrs. Florence B.Henderson, Edward J. Henderson, Muriel Henderson, and grandson Alan W Ward. Gustaf F. Burg married Etta R. Historical records indicate that Carl Henry and Edward J Burg were businessmen involved in real estate development. Gustaf F. Burg was an artist.
I am still searching for clues to the Burg brother's cousins, named Young.
