I lived in Sissonville from 1967-1981
Anyway... You have a lot of messages that connect? possibly to parts of my family
I married Lisa Berry dau of William K Berry, son of William M Berry (buried Covey Cem near Romance, Jackson Co.) My gr grandfather was Squire Jenkins Jones married to Genevra Daulton Atkinson, later married to Minnie Dora Shamblin... My grand mothers Nancy Josephine Jones sister Lillie Mae Jones married Averal Burdette, had a brother Cecil and Clarence, Lillie and Averal children were Tressie, Nona, Kathleen, and Maxi (f)
Averal's father was James Leftridge... does any of this info tie in with yours...
BTW, the Cox side was from Athens Oh...grand father Leonard Clark son of Will Dawson (or Dolson)
