My great grandfather was Giles Z. Burdette (some controversy about spelling)and he moved to Alabama from SC sometime in the mid 1800's before 1861. The records we have show him married to Jane C Glascow (again spelling)March 31, 1836. We feel this may have a second marriage. Do you have any info on the father of Giles Z or any other info that might help me get past this hurdle?
