In what county or counties did the Thompkins and John Burdett families that came to MO in 1830 settle? There was a Thompkins Burdit in Marion county, MO in 1850 aged 65 m. to Lucy, aged 40, with a son, Louie C, aged 22.

A John Burdett is listed in the marriage records of Callaway county. Married Mrs. Elizabeth Woods on 6 mar 1845.

I am interested in these families as a possible tie-in to my great grandfather Lewis Burdett. I will be happy to exchange or provide such information as I have available.
