I have just returned to this forum after an extended absence and notice the new posts in 2011. In 2003 I received a message from a correspondent in Cheshire, England. She said her grandma was Ida Burdett, child of Harry's second marriage to Sarah Simon of Wales. I don't want to post her name since I don't have her permission. I'll identify her by her initials RL.
If you'd like to know more my e-mail address is no longer hidden (the old one was out of date anyway). I have records and notes on the first Avery Burdett which differ a little in detail from yours so I'm wondering if mine are incorrect (quite possible). I have quite a collection of bits and pieces on at least 12 Avery Burdetts and relatives in Rushton, Brington and Brigstock (not all connected) should anyone be looking.
