I am searching for any information on Lewis Allen Burdette, b. 1839, Civil War Soldier, buried near Elk River.

Lewis Burdette married Amanda (Mandy) Samples, b. 1838, Clay Co WV. Their Children:

Samuel Preston Burdette, b. 1862, m Mary Jane Fitzwater b. 1872,

Sarah Jane Burdette, b. 1866, m1, George Washington Arthur, m2 Floyd Bennett, b. 1869

R. B. Burdette, b. 1879

Mary C. Burdette, b. 1881

Camden C. Burdette, m Etta Mae Estep

Patterson V. Burdette, b. 1879
