I am a third great-granddaughter of Seaborn Jones and Sarah "Sally" Burdett. She was born in 1809. I am currently seeking information regarding Sally's parents, and other preceeding generations. Due to the information I see on DeKalb County's 1850 Census, I tend to believe she was related to Humphrey Burdett II and his family. I say this, because her son, Albert Jones (my second great-grandfather), lived with a Samuel Burdett at the time that census was taken. Also, Seaborn Jones and various Burdetts (including Benjamin, Margaret, etc.) were members of Hardman Primitive Baptist Church at the same time. At one point, Seaborn Jones and some of the Burdetts left (along with other families) to form Indian Creek Baptist Church in Clarkston.
Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? How do I go about getting this information? Any help would be appreciated.
