I am looking for information on: Thomas Burdett, Humphrey Burdett, and Louis (Lewis) Burdett. I believe they may have been brothers, I'm sure they were related. Thomas was b. abt. 1802, in VA.- Humphrey was b. abt. 1809, in VA. and Louis was b. abt. 1815, in KY.
By the time of the 1850 census, they were all living in Muscatine, IA, next door to each other. In the 1850 census, they were all listed as Burditt, but in 1860 and 1870, they were listed as Burdett.
I am trying to find out who their parents were. They evidently left VA prior to 1815, when Louis was born. They (at least Louis), may have spent a fair amount of time in KY, as Louis married Elizabeth Pace, b. abt. 1826, in KY. There is also a Felix ? in the picture, b. abt. 1837, in KY. In 1850 he was living with Humphrey Burdett, in Muscatine, IA. In 1860, he was living with Elizabeth Burdett (no mention of Louis), in Muscatine IA.
If you have any info that may pertain to these Burdetts, I would really appreciate knowing what it is.
