I just came upon a Civil War Pension file that contains some of the Burd family you mention. They are living around Academia and Mifflin, Juniata Co., Pa. around 1924. Annie E. Albert Burd, Peter wife, mother was Sarah J. Dehiser Albert. The Dehiser are from around Andersonburg, Perry Co., Pa. My record shows that Peter was a labor on state road with a post office of East Waterford Oct 4, 1924. This came from the Civil War Pension file of James William Dehiser who died 1922 in Ohio. Frank
