Thank you for the information. The Col. Burd information was written in 1927 by a descendent of the James Burd. The 'paper' was passed down to me after my mother's death. I looked up the James Burd home on-line and I think it may be the Harrisburg airport. Although I have been rather inactive with my genealogy lately. I would like to know how I could aquire the Haliburton genealogy that you referred. I was in the Philadelphia/Lancaster area for my 50th high school reunion in 2004 and visited some historical libraries. I also visited a 4th cousin once removed in the Conyngham family. Thanks again for the information.
