I descend from Simeon S Burd who I believe to be a son of Randolph Burd from Indiana County PA. Some years ago I shared information with a Mr Ralph Roth who was a descendant of Major Simeon Burd of Westmoreland County PA. We had no proof but after looking at tax records and census records the possibility seemed to exist that Randolph and Major Simeon were brothers and sons of William and Mary Burd both of Westmoreland County. I have correspondence from Mr Roth re his family and records that he looked up. If you would like to email me and share information I would be more than happy to share what I have.
