If they aren't siblings, there certainly related. The names of John and Samuel are very common in the BURCHILLs from Bandon,Co. Cork. In 1642 a Samuel BURCHILL put in a compensation claim after the uprising. See http://www.alphalink.com.au/~datatree/wolfs40.htmhttp://www.alphalink.com.au/~datatree/wolfs40.htm
John LISSON and Samuel BURCHILL were listed one right after the other which made me picture two friends in the line up to submit their claims. The two families have inter-married for generations. My Mary and Sarah are daughters of John BURCHILL and Mary SHANNON. John BURCHILL was s/o Samuel BURCHILLand Mary LISSON. Perhaps the two families lived in Devon,ENgland before going to Ireland. All this is speculation but I'm going to put your John down as a "possible" brother to my Sarah and Mary. Here are the BURCHILLs who petitioned for land in NB.

The names Peter and Isaac are unusual but there is an RC family that finally settled in St. Martins,Saint John Co.,NB. I imagine they are related way back. Yours and mine being Anglicans is further chance they are related. If you ever find a connection please let me know?
