Hi Rick,
Do you remember the name of the person that went to the funeral? My mother passed away in 1989 and some of the Burchett family came over to the funeral in South Shore, KY. I remember meeting Norma Armstrong, I got her address but lost it before I could write to her.
I am Sandy, the daughter of Arnold Roger Burchett that was born and raised in Ohio. He was in the Air Force in Tucson, AZ on Davis Moncthan Air Force Base, where I was born. My mother's name was Nan Horton and she was from South Shore, KY across the river from Portsmouth.
I know that I was named after a cousin Sandy in Tucson, but that is all I know about AZ. I do know that there was a set of twins, Mitchell and Mark. I use to live around the corner from them in Columbus, OH. I did not know them, my mother would not let me know any of the Burchett family. She said he deserted me. I know he had his reason and I do wish that I could have talked to him and let him know that he has a granddaughter and 2 great grandsons.
I do not live in California and have never lived there. I have spent most of my life in Ohio and Kentucky. I am living now in North Carolina with my fiance.
I really do hope that I can find some of my lost family thru this.
