Hi Reba, I am very interested in the Burkett
book re:Ky Burketts. My paternal ggrandfather
was b.in Ky 1838 parents unknown. I have his
death cert.& marriage rec. in Linn Co, Mo to
Mary Ann Davis Nov 5,1866 but their first son was born in Ca.bef.1871 so I guess they
went out there for the gold. Later settgled
in Winslow,AZ. He died Old Soldiers Home,CA
in 1911,she in AZ 1929. I have no other clues
except he was a union soldier and on 1890
veterans schedule which I haven't been able
to find yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerly, Evelyn -
