Anthony, I am very much interested in your book, or should I say "Labor of Love". This is so interesting, I can't get away from the computer! In your library of facts, do you by chance have a William Burkett b. l8l6 - l824 in Tn. married a Lydia McWilliams (McMilion on the marriage bond) 2-01-1847 in Claiborne Co. Tn. His name may have been Burkhart on the marriage bond. So many spellings for the Burketts. That is how we spelled my maiden name. They first showed up on the l850 census in Pulaski Co., Ky. and was back and forth to tn. until l880 Pulaski Co., Ky. census William is not listed but Libby Burkheart ( another spelling) was listed as head of household with son John age 33 and mother in law Thursa age 79 living with her. Other two sons living on each side of her. This is the first and only time I have seen mention of a Thursa Burkheart. Would appreciate any help in this puzzle. Let me know about your book. Thanks!! Linda
