There were a number of cemeteries on Johns
Creek in Floyd County that were moved when
Dewey Dam was constructed in the late 1940s.
Most of these graves were moved to two
locations, the Auxier Relocation Cemetery in
Auxier, Kentucky and the Wells Relocation
Cemetery on Auxier Road. I have submitted
a listing of these two cemeteries on the
Floyd County webpage. Hope this helps in
