JOHN SWAN BURCHETT2 JR (JOHN BURCHETT1 SR) was born 1801 in Franklin County, Virginia, and died 1878. He married ELIZABETH MILLER 1823. She was born 1802 in North Carolina, and died 1880.

Children of JOHN JR and ELIZABETH MILLER are:
       i.       MINERVA3 BURCHETT, b. 1823.
       ii.       MARTHA BURCHETT, b. 1826.
2.       iii.       WILLIAM BURCHETT, b. February 16, 1828, Clinton County,Kentucky; d. July 20, 1911.
       iv.       JAMES T BURCHETT, b. 1830.
       v.       SARAH BURCHETT, b. 1832.
       vi.       GEORGE W BURCHETT, b. 1834; m. NACY HYDEN.
