Hi Ann, My Thomas Landrum Burchett did come from VA, but I have never connected the Landrum and Burchett families. Landrum does seem to be a common middle name as there are several throughout the family, so I suspect there is a connection somewhere. My Thomas' mother was a Hite, so don't know if there ever was a connection between Hite and Landrum surnames. If you ever find a conection, I'd love to know. Thanks, Dianne.
