I have some info on the Birchard's of Conn. which I found on the LDS Ancestral file. I am related to the Birchard's through the Dewolf family. Eunice Birchard b. July 29, 1726 Norwich, CT married Matthew Dewolf b. May 15, 1724 Bolton, CT. I have back as far as Eunice's GGgrandparents.
It goes: Eunice> James Birchard & Deborah Marks> James Birchard & Elizabeth Beckwith> John Birchard & Christyan Andrews> Thomas Birchard & Mary Robinson.
John and Thomas were both born in Fairstead, Essex, England.
