In looking over records today on ancestry and other sites I find that different ones have Charles Truman Birchard, b. Feb. 6, 1856 being married to Alice Derby, b. 1853, and having two children: Earl E. Birchard and Derby Birchard.
According to my records, Charles Truman Birchard was married to Georgia D. Cutting and that they had one male child born March 29, 1881, died young. So, far as I know this is the only marriage of Charles Truman Birchard and he had no children.
Charles Watson Birchard, b. April 16, 1851, d. ?, married as his firt wife Sept. 1, 1871, Alice M. (Carrie) Derby. Their child, Earl Derby Birchard was born May 5, 1874. It is believed that Earl Derby married twice and lived in or near Hudson, NY.
Charles Truman Birchard was my great uncle and brother to my grandfather. Although I never knew him, my mother said he never had any children. If anyone has any further light on this I would appreciate knowing it.
