I have added quite a bit more to my genealogy and in going through old messages on this forum I ran across your inquiry. I have found a George W. Birchard, b. Nov. 20, 1814, d. March 6, 1897, Chicago, IL, m. Abagail Dresser, d. 1916. Says they had 5 children but I do not have names of children. Hope that this helps and if you have name of children would appreciate them. George W. was the son of Phineas Birchard, Jr., b. 1772, d. 1817, m. Clarissa Miles, b. 1777, d. May 28, 1830.
