Hello Janet and Family,
I am so very glad to hear from you. I apologize about not answering sooner but due to the sandstorms, Internet availability and geographic location; I am unable to access any of our family records. I am currently living in a desert camp in Saudi Arabia not far from the Kuwait & Iraq borders. As many times as I have visited the Point Pleasant Cemetery in Long Creek, Illinois - I'm not sure if I can explain how to find the Burcham Family Area. From the access road driving in - they are located about a third of the way into the cemetery. The best way to locate and get actual plot numbers would be to contact Everett Earl & Joyce Burcham of Decatur, IL. or his brother John Ivan & Debbie Burcham of Decatur IL. Both know the cemetery very well. Jim & Twila Jacobs (My Uncle Everett Burcham's (my dad's brother George W. Burcham) oldest son by marriage passed a few years ago. Jim's wife (Twila) lives in Long Creek. Now, the reason for this long explanation, I do not believe any of these family members have email but all are listed in the phone directory. Evert Earl (Uncle Everett 2nd oldest son) works for the vault company that sets the vaults at Point Pleasant Cemetery - he is most likely the most knowledgeable person to talk to regarding where the plots are, plot numbers and the other local cemeteries, which family is buried but all three mentioned can direct you to the family plot at Point Pleasant.
