Burcham family - England - Belgium

Iam searching for help with my Burcham family. I have them in Mulbarton, Norfolkshire, England in 1540/1541. Then I come to a wide chasm that I am trying to cross. I found this notation: 'The earlier Burcham families migrated from southwestern Belgium sometime between 1480 & 1508 and were French speaking.' Also that Spain 'owned' the area of Belgium at the time & that, although Spain was Roman Catholic, they were tolerant of the Walloon Protestants. Then the king changed it al & gave the Protestants a time limit to choose to leave Belgium or to become Roman Catholics. The Burcham families chose to leave & ended in ENgland.
Can anyone help me with ANY information regarding my family or of any people leaving Belgium around this time period?
