By 1900, Joseph, age 46, is widowed, living in ward 5, Kansas City, Wyandotte Co KS, with Ora and four other children, Harry, Alvin, John and Edna, the last born in 1895. All the children are listed as born in IL. In 1910, Joseph listed as Jasper N, is in Jasper Co IL with two youngest children, John and Edna.
John Burcham, born May 1893 registered for WWI in Champaign Co IL, states his father is dependent on his support. John is in Piatt Co IL in 1920 with wife, Elta and one child. In 1930 he is in McLean Co IL, with Elta and 3 children and Agnes L CAMPBELL, sister in law.
Alva H Burcham born Sep 1890, is also registered in the same county, both state they were born in Winterrowd? IL.
Alva has a wife and one child and I find him in 1910 Effingham Co, with wife Grace and one child, and in 1920 in Piatt Co, with wife Grace and one child age 10 and another 2 and 3/12.
In 1930 he is in St Joseph Co MI, with Grace and 3 children.
The SHIPMAN and BURCHAM families stayed near each other and both may have been from Green Co IN.
