I'm looking for Green Wesley Burcham line. Green was born about 1826 in or around Scott Co., Ark. He married Laura Ann "Lovey" Baker born abt. 1826 in Ark. They had 5 children Amanda, James M. & Mary Ann Melvina Bircham in Ark. They moved to Texas and had 2 children Thomas S. & John W. Burcham. It is rumored that Green & Laura Burcham were killed abt 1855/56 in Wise or Hill Co., Texas. Information I recieved says that Green Burcham is buried in Hillsboro Tex. On the 1860 census in Wise co., Tx the 5 Burcham children were living with William S. & Elizabeth Hogge family. Do not know the relation to the Hogge family.
Green W. Burcham's mother's name was Mary born about 1800 in Tennessee. On the 1850 census (Mountain, Scott Co., Ark - p. 142 - house # 220) it showed 3 of the brothers & Mother living next door to Green Burcham & family. Evan, John & Campbell Burcham.. Mary Burcham was living with possibly another son on the 1860 census ( Hickman, Scott Co., Ark - p. 815 - house # 834 ) Benjamin Burcham age 43 born in Tn.
