One of John Burcham Jr's children was Joseph Burcham, who I am descended from. John Burcham Jr. moved his family from Surry County, NC to Indiana about 1825. My father lives within a couple of miles of the property where John Jr's family settled. This is where I was raised. I know John Jr.also had children named Hannah, John B. and Rosanna. Joseph was my gr-gr-gr-gr grandfather. David was my gr-gr-gr grandfather, James was my gr-gr grandfather, William Martin was ny gr-grandfather, Daniel Wayne was my grandfather and Richard Martin is my father. I've found a source for the Burchams in Surry and wilkes Counties in NC and will be receiving this information (a book was written about them) in another week or two. Any information on your husband's lineage from John Jr. would be appreciated. Let me know if there's anything I can try to help with.
