Searching for ancestry of Bettie Burcham who arrived in Carroll County VA with three children in 1860. The name of her husband is unknown. Chidren are James William Burcham born in 1876, Nancy Burcham born in 1849, and Turk Burcham. James William Bircham married to Savilda Alice Gwynn, and they bore 8 children, Aaron Fulton Burcham, Mary Elizabeth Burcham, Edna Burcham, Rosella Burcham, Robert William Burcham, Salvida Francis Burcham, Rhoda Burcham and Hilary Burcham. Nancy Burcham born in 1849 in Patrick County in 1849 married John J. Gwynn in Carroll County in 1866. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Contact M.L.
