My husband's great-grandmother was Alice Burcham, daughter of Samuel A. Burcham, Granddaughter of Henry Burcham, great-granddaughter of Levi H. Burcham (b.1772) of NC.
Levi came from NC. By 1820 he shows up on the Hickman Co.TN census.
He married (1) Ann Wyatt and had 5 children, 3 girls (names unk) and 2 boys, John (b.1805) and Henry (b.1811)All born in NC. Ann died in 1835 and in 1836 he married (2) Lucinda Fowler, and had 5 more children. Henry married Nancy Searcy and had 10 children, the first five born in Hickman Co. TN and then they moved to Tishomingo Co. MS and the last five were born. Of these 10 children was Samuel A. (Allen) who narried Susan D. Williams and they had 7 children. of these was Alice Burcham who married Richard Wood Cadle. They too had 7 children, one being Sam Allen Cadle. He married E. Ruth Browning and they had 1 child E. Jean Cadle. She married W. Randolph Weeks and they had 1 child Maury Allen Weeks and this is my husband.
4 of Henry's children moved out of the state.
Robert and Levi Jackson moved to Colbert Co. AL. James Marion moved to Upshur Co. TX. and A.Pryor moved to Ark.
I have quite a bit of info on the Burchams and if I can be of any help let me know!
