Susannah BURCHAM was my gggg grandmother. She was born 16 May 1778 in Surry County, NC, died 11 October 1823 in West Elkton, Preble County, OH, married Lazarus DENNEY 1797 in Surry County, NC. Her line goes back - John BURCHAM Sr. b. bet. 1737-1740 in Frederick County VA; Joseph BURCHAM b. 1708 in Burlington, Burlington County, NJ; James BURCHAM b. abt. 1670. Part of her family went to Indiana and others, like our branch went to Iowa. If this sounds interesting contact me. I have more.
