Hi, Mark. I'm a direct descendant of William Henry Burch through his son Charles Burch (b. March 10, 1783 Surry Co., N.C., d. January 10, 1860 Greene Co., IN, m. Elizabeth Sutherland (Southern) August 20, 1802 Stokes Co., N.C., who was b. 1782 N.C., d. April 9, 1858 Greene Co., IN) through Charles and Elizabeth Burch's daughter Anna Burch, my ggggrandmother. Anna Burch (b. 1808 Stokes Co., N.C., d. between 1870 and 1876, IN or MO or in transit) married Michael King (b. 1788-1790 Wake Co., N.C., d. after 1876 Texas Co. or Douglas Co., MO) in Greene Co., IN January 4, 1841. Michael and Anna Burch King's oldest son, Charles Henry King, is my gggrandfather.

I also have been unable to independently verify the Thomas Sr.-Thomas Jr. lineage that seems to have replicated itself on the internet, and I have not included it in my own tree. So I have noted your posts here and in the Birch forum with interest. I don't have one of those pesky Y chromosomes to test, so I'm at a brick wall. But I appreciate your insight.

Feel free to contact me directly if you're interested in filling in forward the Burch bark on Anna's twig on our tree to include Michael and Anna's offspring. (I'm guessing you're my cuz of some degree greater or lesser.) Ruth King Kollman
