John BUNTON, our family patriarch was from Washenaw County, MI. ca 1800 I believe his wife's maiden name was GLOVER. John had ten children including Cora, Carl, James, my grandfather Bert and others. They lived in Willis MI and were farmers, although John was a dignatary listed in an 1800 Who's Who of Washenaw County. The BUNTON road in Willis (Outside of Ypsilanti) was named after him. And, Cora had a farmette on that road.
