Hi Raleigh,
Just have time for a quick note. If you do a google search for "Richard Yaxley log book" you will find his account of your gggrandmothers voyage to America at "Judy's Genealogy. I can send you copies of the original wills of Elizabeth's grandfather and ggrandfather if you would like.
Our wedding was a success. Mary Supiron, who was there (a close friend of my daughter since high school) said she had worked with you when I mentioned talking genealogy with Raleigh from Alpena.
Incidentally, I did live in Alpena one summer many years ago. I helped my dad build the Alpena Country Club on Werth Road.
Just a teaser; one of Elizabeth's nephew's had a major impact on the lives of nearly all the people in the United States and throughout many other countries for the past 75 years. I'll fill you in next time.
