Bunting Family in Mississippi

After years of research I have concluded that the majority of the Mississippi Bunting lines immigrated directly from England through New Orleans starting in the early 19th century and concluding with the War between the States. I have had success with my direct line through my GG Grandfather but their collateral lines are quite confusing due to spelling variations and constant movement through the state. I'm sorry I have digressed...the point here is I would like to hear from any fellow researchers that have Bunting line connections to Mississippi, no matter how minute the info may be or any stories passed through the generations that may even include the name Bunting. In my research experience any info no matter how small may be of great value as a clue where to look next. Also there appears to be a connection to a line of Bunting that came to Mississippi from Virginia after the war, Douglass Bunting was the name. This individual shared housing with my Bunting line so I'm pretty sure they were of kin. I look forward to hearing from any and all.
