I believe that the samuel bunting you may be talking about is the son of Anthony and Ellen Bunting from derbyshire, (matlock) England. He did not come on the Mayfower but on another ship in 1678 and sttled west new jersy in a place called crosswicks. I can look up the ship for you but it was not the mayflower.
