Hi, Kenneth,

This is my family. Mary was the daughter of John Smith and Amelia Trader Smith. Their children included: Sallie, 1832; John, 1833; Rufus Trader, 1834; Levin, 1837; Mary E., 1839; James A., 1841, David R, 1843; Milly, 1845; Purnel, 1846; William T., 1847 and Hester, 1849; Milly, Purnel, and Hester died quite young. They were in Nanticoke Hundred in 1850. John, Sr. and Levin were the first lighthouse keepers on Fenwick Island; the family was in Baltimore Hundred in 1860. John and Amelia both died in October 1869. I don't know where they are buried. Sallie Smith is my great great grandmother. Her son, William E. Smith, was my great grandfather, born in 1859. Sallie Smith and William's sister, Josephine, died soon after 1880. William moved to Missouri to be with his one uncle and lived, married and raised a family there. The only children of John and Amelia I have not been able to trace are John, Jr. and David R. I do know they remained in Delaware or Maryland. John Smith, Sr. is the son of Marvel Smith and Marvel Smith was the son of Charlton Smith and Ann Marvel. Thanks so much for adding to my tree.

Joni
