Looking for John's parentage. According to info that I have collected, he was born in Hookstown, Beaver county, PA; md 1)Mary Elisabeth Stuart 3 Feb 1859; children - Harry, Nellie, Mary, Fred. Md 2) Laura J. Quigley; children Grace and John Walter. He was in Illinois in 1860 and in Iowa by 1868. He died in College Springs, Page county, IA 22 Nov 1912.

I have a very nice picture of John, his wife Laura and their two children Grace and John Walter. Glad to forward a scanned file to relatives.
