This message is for Jane Bunting re: Buntings of Maryland and Delaware. My husband's ancestor was George Campbell BUNTING (1842-1908) of Sussex Co., Delaware. He married Louisa Ingram CAREY in 1865 in Sussex County. He served in the Civil War in Co. C of the 9th Reg. Delaware Infantry. George's father was also George (b. circa 1810 in Sussex Co.) who married Anina circa 1834. Their children were Asca (1835), Evan (1837), William (1839), George C. (1842), and Julia (1848). I can find nothing about George Campbell Bunting's parents other than a listing in the 1850 Federal Census of Sussex Co., DE. Do you have any information to share on this particular family? Thanks a million. This one has me stumped!
