Actually, it is the Almond family that I am researching. I was interested in Eli Bunting because I could find no record of him on the 1850 census or the 1860 census. Have you come across his 1850 or 1860 census record. I know he lived with William Alan Almond in 1870 and 1880, as William married his daughter.

Regarding the comments about census records, yes I agree with those comments, but I was looking at the census records themselves, using Ancestry.com's Census records access program. I was not looking at an abstract or index. The ages given for Eli in 1870 and 1880 do not jive. But then again, none of the ages given for anyone in that home in 1880 jive with previous census records, so I suspect it was the 1880 census taker who did a poor job here in this particular instance. Perhaps he simply got the ages and names from a next door neighbor, or something like that.

Do you know what became of William Allen Almond and his wife, Alice Bunting. By that I mean do you know when and where they passed away and where they were buried? Thank you.
